I knew that try as I might, it would have been impossible for me to verbally articulate what I felt after watching this cult of a movie. Now, I unfortunately knew where it was headed, not only from spoilers but also from the way the plot moved (and also maybe because I am weird and I tend to research on all forms of love and as such had come across something similar to what was shown in this film) . But I was still shocked and I yelled an amused "dayum" in one of the iconic scenes. People left with unsettled questioning faces, some disappointed, some shocked to silence while others, like me, driven crazy with fodder for unending discussions. And yet there was little to no trace of obscenity or gore in the movie. A subdued piece of beauty, perhaps intentionally oversimplified to maintain the absurdist (or maybe even surrealist) feel to it. Go watch it. I will not guarantee anything other than an experience you've probably never had before. You may like it, love it or hate it. But you'll definitely think. And also...her eyes...his smile...the music and the food. You'll be sucked in!
