"Aamis is all about cooking love between the lead characters separated by their ages "- was what I had expected after watching it's trailer. But it was all but expected. And as many would say, expect the unexpected. Having already been compared to various international movies, Aamis ( Ravening ) is eerie, deep, dark yet beautiful. The story which begins as an innocent tale of love between a young student in his twenties, who is a member of a 'Meat Club'and a Doctor who is already into a married relationship, goes on to unfold into a gruesome tale of desire which would leave the audience gasping. Aamis, being a low budget movie could do what Saaho couldn't - it left the audience stirred. Watch the movie for a chilling experience. Watch the movie to witness the revolution that Assamese movies have undergone. Watch the movie for the leads awesome performances. Watch it for the unkempt desires within you.
