Don't miss this masterpiece at any cost: Susruta Mukherjee

Bhaskar Hazarika's Aamis reminded us of our Uncle's racy Mutton Keema (Keemar Kaada, as he calls it) that we crave for every now and then. The spices burn our insides everytime, yet we can't stop loving it.
Anurag Kashyap says that there's no film like Aamis that has ever come out of India.
The food, the beautiful love story empowered by the performances, cinematography and the editing keeps you hooked throughout and when the maddening paradigm shift happens, you can't help but agree with Mr.Kashyap.
Don't miss this masterpiece at any cost.

  1. There is a silence in this image.. a disquieting silence. The kinds that creeps up on you and surrounds you just when you were getting confident of the warmth... 'Soul of Aamis' is what I call this image. The 'paradigm shift' that the author mentions in the post is a constant as you look at it. #AamisDarkLove
